With a strong focus on Dancehall music, there really is no better place in the world than Jamaica, the true home of this genre and still the place where the best artists are found. The country still holds a deep and infuential connection to dancehall music. As the birthplace of this vibrant genre, the island has played a pivotal role in shaping its development and global impact.

Empress Ann knows how many challenges artists have to face just to simply make ends meet. For this reason, she had a strong vision in mind. Empress Ann aimed to create a label that wouldn’t just put music out but actively change the lives of talented local artists.
In the span of just one month, Empress transformed the lives of numerous individuals by signing ten artists to her label’s roster. The inaugural major release is set for May 20th, featuring her artist Gothic, one of the most promising local talent. Gothic captured her heart during his performance at a showcase on April 4th, leading to his discovery and subsequent signing to the label.
Just six days later, Empress revamped his appearance, produced two music videos, and secured an opening slot for him at a concert headlined by the prominent recording artist Jah Vinci. As the release dates for multiple artists on her label draw near, the label’s highly anticipated compilation albums are set to debut at the beginning of June 2024.
