The artist, who is also known for his hit song, Brawling, says he got his name from a friend because his music reflects darkness and anger. He grew up in Granville, which had violence, poverty, and everything. It was this hardship that Gothic put into his music.
Gothic started singing in the church choir at the age of 10. He wrote his first song at the age of 14. At 15, he met T5, who became his first producer. Gothic is now signed to Empress Ann Recordz.
The interview then cuts to Empress Ann, the owner of Empress Ann Recordz. Empress Ann says she discovered Gothic at a showcase in April 2024. She was impressed by his performance and signed him to the label. Gothic’s career has been on the rise ever since. Empress says she has experience in the entertainment field for over 20 years. She used to manage her daughters, who were models and actresses. She also produced music for her daughter.
